Tom is President and owner with his wife, Sue, of Swigert & Associates, Inc., primarily an income tax preparation business since 1978. He has a Federal license from the US Treasury Department as an enrolled agent since 1982 - an income tax professional who can represent his clients before the IRS.
Since 1987, he has been a Registered Representative with HD Vest Investment Securities (now Avantax), Irving TX, and insurance licensed since 1988, and advisory licensed since 1993. Since 2008, he has been an HD Vest (now Avantax) Chapter Leader, Mentor and Teacher to fellow HD Vest (now Avantax) Registered Representatives (aka Brokers).
He is also: President and part owner of Prime Focus, Inc., an Employee Leasing Firm since 1983; Trustee of the Verne W Swigert Estate Trust, a working grain farm in Iowa since 1996. He is an Illinois Registered Agent for many Illinois Corporations.
